Who processes your data

The data controller is DCL BB LODGING S.R.L., VAT ID 52581445, 14 Paul Greceanu Street, District 2, Bucharest, which runs the Casa Sofia guesthouse. For any question about your data, write to contact@casasofia.ro.

What data we use and why

• Contact form, e-mail, phone, WhatsApp: your name, e-mail address, phone number and what you write to us, so that we can answer and, if you ask, make a booking for you (legal basis: steps you request before a contract and our legitimate interest in replying).
• Booking and stay: your booking details and the identity details Romanian law requires on arrival (guest registration form), plus invoicing details (legal basis: performance of the contract and legal obligations).

We do not use your data for advertising and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

• The CultBooking reservation system, when you book online; it has its own privacy policy, shown on the booking page.
• Providers that help us operate (website and e-mail hosting, invoicing software, our accountant), only as far as they need.
• Public authorities, when the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Messages for as long as needed to answer you and at most one year afterwards. Accommodation and accounting records for as long as the law requires.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, erased or restricted, to object to its processing and to receive it in a portable format. Write to contact@casasofia.ro and we will reply within one month. You can also complain to the Romanian data protection authority (dataprotection.ro).
